David Mach
This website covers some of the work from 2000 until now and on. You will see work that you will have missed because I was simply too busy to feed the original website. This new one more than makes up for it and my intention with it is to show you how my work has evolved; how my working practice has changed, for example, I work more than I ever did but have fewer exhibitions. Collage has taken over my life, too, as individual independent pieces and in the form of proposals for sculpture and public and architectural works of art. The proposal section is very important to me. I spend a lot of time in this area around which there are many pitfalls. You’re never guaranteed to get the job, but the efforts to get it can be extensive, it’s important to me that you should see some of the ideas put forward and read the story of their success or failure. I would hope that these would be interesting stories to read about an artist’s working life.
The original website has been archived and as time moves on, new work will appear here and more work will go to that archive so if you are interested in other, earlier work it’s there for you to see; access the archive >
There are also new features on this site allowing you to really get into the visual detail of my work, easy to use and fun to play with.
There is also a gallery section and you will find works currently for sale in there and other items, books, prints and so on.
