RA SUMMER EXHIBITION 2020

For the first time in history, the Summer Exhibition will fall in winter. It opens to the public on the 6th of October and all the way through to the 3rd of January 2021.

This year we’ve been busy with the making of five new screen prints for the show all available online on the RA website.

These screen prints derive directly from making collage using commando comic books. It started as a passion, a love of the stories and imagery found in DC Thompson comics. It became a precious source of inspiration for David telling new stories, arranging new situations, addressing politics, social, economic, sex, relationship and gender issues.
