The Devil

Full Colour, Fine Art Photo Rag Paper. Cotton 100% rag traditional fine art paper with a special smooth matt coating, 310gsm base. This Giclé Print is a reproduction of one of David’s Match Head sculptures using thousands of safety matches. “The Devil” was exhibited at the City Arts Centre in Edinburgh. It was burned as part of David’s performance and process to change the appearance of the surface of the sculpture.
The original artwork was 51cm deep x 43 cm wide x 56 cm high. The sculpture was destroyed during an incident at David’s studio in 2020
